After the destruction of the Death Star, pressing personal matters prevent -smuggler-turned-hero Han Solo from enjoying the rewards. Still in debt and with a bounty on his head, Solo agrees to help a stranger with a dangerous heist that will have a big payoff if it's successful. Along with his companion Chewbacca and the smooth operator Lando Calrissian, Solo assembles a team of the galaxy's most notorious scoundrels to undertake a grand caper that seems guaranteed to do one thing: fail. VERDICT The author of numerous Star Warsr novels including the Thrawn Trilogy (Heirs to the Empire; Dark Force Rising; The Last Command) has written a space-opera version of Ocean's Eleven. While the surprise ending to this rapid-fire adventure may not fool series die-hards, it adds yet another dimension of enjoyment to a rousing galactic romp. (c) Copyright 2012.
